We also have many years of experience in all layers of software development: kernel / OS level hardware drivers, wired and wireless network protocols, user interface design and implementation. We can provide architecture review services. We have a favorite generic flexible architecture that supports multiple processors and inter-processor communication. This architecture is supported by an external tracing tool that gives great visibility into code execution without introducing any new or foreign overhead that can affect performance or timing in unpredictable and unwanted ways.
